| Point Reyes National Seashore |
| Point Reyes National Seashore, located north of San Francisco is land which is part of the Pacific Plate. It is bounded on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the east by Tomales Bay and other features of the San Andreas Fault. Drive the short distance from Point Reyes Station to Inverness and you have moved from the North American Tectonic Plate to the Pacific Tectonic Plate.
